Keep the Evening Light / Learn

Accessibility

Keyboard navigation, readable comparisons, reduced motion, and the accessibility verification boundary.

Different ways of browsing

The site uses semantic headings, a skip link, visible focus indicators, labeled controls, text-based comparisons and reduced-motion support. On a narrow screen, Menu opens the page list. Sign and Share stay along the bottom edge. Articles and the default comparison remain readable without JavaScript.

Using the explorer

Tab to the city, date and view controls, then activate Compare daylight. Results use a polite live region. Both morning and evening values have text labels. No meaning depends on color alone.

Sharing

Use Share this page for your device’s options, or Copy link. If clipboard access fails, a selectable URL appears.

Verification boundary

Automated checks catch common problems but do not replace assistive-technology testing. A physical-device screen-reader review remains part of the public-launch checklist. Report a barrier through the correction process.
